Highgate Hill

At Highgate Hill we were entrusted with the task of designing a front entry that invites you in: it needed to be beautiful as well as functional. With a narrow frontage and steep site to contend with, we designed the entryway using creative textures and features. This creates the illusion of the entrance looking larger than it actually is as the eye travels from one element to the next.

At the back of the home, our clients wanted a low maintenance garden and an area for their boys to play and swim year-round, hence the need for this pool to come with heating! We positioned the pool off to one side to give the homeowners a flat area, and to enjoy maintenance free living with a simple garden design and use of artificial turf.

The site on which this pool was constructed is a narrow, steep block with tight access. Aesthetic Pools and Landscapes worked closely with the home builder to construct the pool and get the levels spot on before the house was built. The floating steps and elevated planter boxes are some of our favourite design features on this project.
